- The Farmhouse: Sleeps 8 guests This beautifully restored farmhouse boasts a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing home-cooked meals. The cozy sitting room/lounge area includes a fireplace and opens onto a spacious patio with a braai (barbecue) area, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors.
- The Cottage: Sleeps 2-4 guests The Cottage features a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The open-plan kitchen and lounge area is perfect for relaxing, with two single beds that can be used for additional guests.
- BITS: Sleeps 2 guests A snug, cosy bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a comfortable double bed—ideal for a solo traveler or a couple. Heat and eat facilities.
- The Vine: Sleeps 2 guests With a verandah overlooking a tiny garden this unit is perfect for a couple or 2 friends. Choose between a king-size bed or twin beds in this semi-self catering unit with an open-plan en-suite bathroom.

We are Pet Friendly
Each unit is fenced in and has a grass or small stone area for your pets. The height of the fences are about 1 meter which make it more suitable for small to medium size dogs. The outside areas are between 25m² and 100m²
Pet Friendly Guidelines
- Arrange ahead of time how many pets plus their size.
- Unsupervised Pets – are not allowed. Pets can never be left alone at THE YARD without their owners.
- Don’t feed other pets – especially our dog, NINA. She is on a special diet for her skin. She almost died because of bones stuck in her throat.
- Bedding – Please always bring your own bedding/blankets for the pets. If you need an extra doggy blanket, we can supply you with a clean pet-friendly blanket. (Please communicate your need with your hostess.)
- Pet Friendly bedding – since we usually have white linen on our beds, we need to know that you are bringing pets along so that we can swop it for our pet-friendly multi colour linen.
- Pick-up-Poo – please pick up your dog’s poo to make it landmine safe for everyone else on the property.
- No scratching on doors – please refrain your dog from scratching on inside or outside of any doors.
- No Pets on Furniture – we do understand that each person treat their pets differently. Seeing that we receive many guests at The Yard, we ask that you will please refrain your pets from lying /sleeping on the furniture. If it is impossible to keep them down, could you kindly cover the furniture with a doggy blanket (Let us know if you need an extra blanket).
