      The Yard – Unique Self-Catering Accommodation in Gordon’s Bay

      The Yard tucked away in the scenic coastal town of Gordon’s Bay and offers a peaceful retreat for you and your pets – with a touch of urban farm-style living. This spacious property features a range of self-catering units, each designed for comfort, privacy, and relaxation.

      The Farmhouse: Sleeps 8 
      This beautifully restored farmhouse boasts a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing home-cooked meals. The cozy sitting room/lounge area includes a fireplace and opens onto a spacious patio with a braai (barbecue) area, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. Fully self-catering.

      The Cottage: Sleeps 2-4
      The Cottage features a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The open-plan kitchen and lounge area are perfect for relaxing, with two single beds which can be used for additional guests. Fully self-catering.

      BITS: Sleeps 2
      A snug, cosy bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a comfortable double bed—ideal for a solo traveller or a couple. Heat and eat facilities.

      The Vine: Sleeps 2
      With a verandah overlooking a tiny garden this unit is perfect for a couple or 2 friends. Choose between a king-size bed or twin beds in this semi-self catering unit with an open-plan en-suite bathroom. Heat and eat facilities.

      Each unit is fenced in and has a grass or small stone area for your pets. The height of the fences are about 1 meter which make it more suitable for small to medium size dogs. The outside areas are between 25m² and 100m²

      My husband and I stayed at the Yard for 3 months. It is run by a lovely and caring couple that take pride in the place and in giving there guest the best accommodation possible. We had our pets with us and they were just as welcome as we were. The rooms are neat and has a warm feeling to it with lovely snacks for guest and there pets to make you feel more at home. We loved it there and so did our pets, I highly recommend this place when visiting Gordon’s Bay. The owners went out of there way for with in reason of course, we will not forget our stay or experience with them and they will be our first stop when visiting Gordon’s Bay again.

      Absolutely fantastic accommodation, what a gem! Super super well thought out, incredibly smartly designed and has everything you need and then some. Your hosts are very on top of things and the fact that it is pet friendly sets this accommodation a cut above the rest. Not to mention this is probably the cleanest airbnb I’ve ever been to, can only recommend and I’ll definitely be back. Book right away!

      What an absolutely beautiful, Stunning little b&b. The Yard is this little Gem and was just perfect for my fiance and I. the owners welcome you with open arms and have created a little eden of warmth, comfort, security and most of all serinty and Peace. The Yard is filled with home made and self designed decor and crafts which makes one feel at home. This little Gem and I will only Gem as that’s what it is, is truly stunning well worth everyday we spent here. We will most defdinately return every time we visit Gordons Bay and family as now we have found our own little GEM to call home away from home. Thank you to the owners and your team, Our stay was pleasant and unforgettable. All the best for now will see u soon again.
